Partner Program
What is the Partner Program?
The Partner Program is Sphere Group's offering for established P&C agency owners. It's designed for experienced agents who want better economics and more flexibility than typical networks offer.
What commission splits does the Partner Program offer?
Splits are tiered by annual earned premium: 90% for under $1M, 93% for $1M–$3M, and 96% for agencies above $3M.
Can I sell my book of business if I want to exit?
Yes — and you can sell it to anyone. Sphere Group places no restrictions on who you can sell your book to.
Are there any entry or exit fees?
None. There are no entry fees to join the Partner Program and no exit fees to leave. We believe the program should stand on its own merit — not financial lock-ins.
Can I write business outside the Sphere network?
Yes. Sphere Group members have unlimited flexibility to secure appointments outside our network when needed. You are never limited to only our carriers.
Pathway Program
Do I need an existing book of business to join Pathway?
No, however, you need an active insurance license and prior insurance experience.
What commission split do Pathway producers receive?
Pathway producers receive a 70/30 split from the very first policy.
What happens when I reach $1M in written premium?
At $1M, you become eligible for direct carrier codes and can choose to transition into the Sphere Group Partner Program — or stay as a producer.

What carriers does Sphere Group work with?
Our carrier portfolio includes top-rated personal lines carriers, commercial lines carriers, and financial services partners (life, annuities, investments).
Do I get access to profitability bonuses from carriers?
Partner Program members have access to carrier profitability bonuses.
What if I need a market that isn't in your portfolio?
Sphere Group members have unlimited flexibility to secure appointments outside our network when needed.
Getting Started
Who is Sphere Group designed for?
The Partner Program is designed for experienced P&C agency owners who want better carrier economics, direct contracts, and full book ownership. The Pathway Program is for licensed insurance producers — new or experienced — who want to build a book of business with access to top carriers.
How long does the application process take?
Most applications move through review within a week. Carrier onboarding typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on the number of appointments and carrier timelines. We pre-vet appointment eligibility before you sign anything — so there are no surprises.
Where is Sphere Group based?
Sphere Group is a Midwest-based insurance network. We work with agents and producers across the Midwest and are actively expanding. Contact us to discuss availability in your state.
